As a repeat customer for over 20 years, I’ve always had the peace of mind that comes from leaving my vehicles’ repair needs in the hands of the experts whom I trust at West Lake Houston Automotive. Throughout the years they’ve proven not only to be knowledgeable, competent, and professional, but kind, straightforward, and honest. In my most recent visit, I feel they saved me hundreds of dollars when my vehicle’s electrical system was having issues. Although my battery was just 3 months old, my vehicle was constantly needing a jump to get started. I feared that it was the voltage regulator contained inside my alternator and would require a dealership repair quoted to cost me as much as $1500 because my vehicle’s warranty had recently run out. The customer service representatives at West Lake Houston Automotive (Jay and Bree) informed me that after a quick low cost inspection, it may have been my new battery that was the culprit. Since the battery was still under warranty, they independently contacted O’Riley’s, where I had purchased the battery, and got it replaced at no charge to me. A repair shop with less scruples could have taken advantage of the situation and charged me big dollars for unneeded repairs.
